Varieties of Technological and Organizational Changes in the Age of Automation and Digitalisation

Aim of this workshop is to shed light on ongoing cutting-edge research on automation and digitalisation involving firms, sectors of activity, and labour processes.

Including analyses on

(i) mapping of the knowledge base of the latest wave of Industry 4.0

(ii) unfolding of digitalization and automation upon firms and sectors in terms of organizational practices

(iii) patterns of continuity with respect to the past dominant technological paradigms (iv) interaction with global value chains and multi country perspectives

The workshop will be an opportunity to understand how the manufacturing processes are changing.

The workshop is organised within the activites of the Industry 4.0 Competence Center on Advanced Robotics and enabling digital Technologies & Systems ARTES 4.0.
